    Golf day glory! 24k raised for Atlantics "Change is in the Air" initiative

    The Virgineers Golf Day was once again a resounding success with everyone enjoying what has become the Virgin’s annual golfing event of the year.

    Wildwood Golf & County Club in Surrey played host, on one of the hottest days of the year so far. The day itself raised in excess of £24,000 for Virgin Atlantics “change is in the air” initiative.

    On July 5, 2010, 14 successful entrepreneurs from around the world combined the missions of Virgin Unite, Virgin Limited Edition and Maverick Business Adventures (MBA) in South Africa to give more, play more and make more. This story follows MBA’s epic South Africa experience that started off at Ulusaba private game reserve, continued on to the Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship in Johannesburg, and finished in Cape Town to be ready for semi-final World Cup match.
