The Gay Men's Health Crisis

A New York city-based not-for-profit, volunteer-supported and community-based organization committed to national leadership in the fight against AIDS. Over 25 years old, GMHC was the first ever AIDS service organization providing support to gay and straight men, women and children.

For support and information call the GMHC Hotline: 212-807-6655 or 1-800-AIDS-NYC (1-800-243-7692). Hotline hours: Monday through Friday 10:00 am to 9:00 pm and Saturday 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm (Eastern Time -GMT minus 5 hours).

The California AIDS Hotline, is a volunteer-based HIV information service that provides state-wide support to California residents. The service also has specialized care for minorities including English, Filipino and Spanish language services.
